We FINALLY met for our book club. There’s 6 in our group, but only Valerie, Sharon and myself were able to make it. Valerie and Sharon lovedthe book and I’m still wondering why it’s still a number one read for book clubs. Now we’re reading The Memory Keeper’s Daughter and like this author’s writing better and I’ve only read 1 or 2 chapters.
Anyway, for all you Philly Knitters, you need to check out the T Bar on 12th & Sansom. It’s a gorgeous little tea room and they have a delicious turkey and brie pannini with a fig spread and their peppermint latte is great!! Here’s a picture of the owners, they’re sisters, Julia and Susan and they’re soo nice.
He’s a shot of the T Bar:
It’s a great place to hang out and get your knit on!!

I just read Life, Liberty and the Mummers – Great book!
Hi Girls…
Well, I’ve really done it this time. I’ve launched a professional organizing business. Hiring an organizer is a great thing for knitters (as well as for members of the general population)… an organizer can help you eeek out more minutes in your day, and more minutes equals more time to knit! Please visit me on the web, and sign up for my free newsletter: Organize Today.

…a professional organizer helping you to find creative ways to manage the tasks of everyday life at work, at home and at play.
I’ve already made the paper. Look here: http://www.readmetro.com/show/en/Philadelphia/20071227/1/18/
Please feel free to put a link to the new site on your blogs and web pages… the power of knitters in the blog world is awesome and would really be a great boost to this new endeavor.
Thanks.

I just finished Water for Elephants for my book club. We meet on Wednesday to discuss it. I really liked it, but I look forward to learning what the others thought about it. I am sure there will be at least one person (out of the 8 or so that will show up) that will have not liked it.
I have read the Memory Keeper’s Daughter. I was very interested in the motives of one of the characters (I won’t give anything away) and what I would have done in his place.
